Unfortunately Grouper is right. You must be able to speak spanish, fluently, in order to work that kind of job here. And San Juan is a very expensive place to live. Rent is high, food is high and utilities are high. Public transportaion is a joke, crime is bad, economy is in the pit and traffic is murder. I live in PR but I avoid San Juan as much as I can. If you are fluent, have savings sufficiant to get you through 6 months and have a high tolerance for government ineficiancy, buerocracy, sad stray animals, horrible drivers and over priced everything then give it a go.
