How much is this trip going to cost?

I'm in Georgia. Never flown in a plane or even been out of the country. But my close friend and I are planning to go to San Juan , Puerto Rico in July. We're trying to split up the money in half to save up (for plane tickets , travel supplies , hotel , etc). How much would the trip cost? Anymore than $1000 ?
