Is IPOP auditions in Puerto Rico a scam?

Ok I live in Puerto Rico. My mom saw the news ad that this month there was a Talent Audition located in San Juan. They said on the radio their number and mom called. They said only the first 200 kids would go in. I was one of those. So they booked me an audition at 12:00 this Saturday 28th. They said something to visit the website IPOP and check for more details. At the same time I heard that this is all fake and saw some of additional details, it said that this is a scam and they just want my money. Problem is I HAVE no money. If I do win an audition, will they force me to pay even if my family is on a bad economy scale? I dont want to put my family on an even poorer scale that their is now.
