Can anyone offer me advice on my gay friend?

He's evidently had a crush on you for quite a few years, but he is only fooling himself with false hopes that you secretly do feel the same way about him. All you can do is stand your ground, yet continue to be his best friend. If it comes down to it, tell him to stop being a whiny little betch and accept your friendship and nothing more. You do have boundaries, you know. I understand you are not a mean person, but you do have to get your point across once and for all.
