Why is this girl so ignorant?

Some people are simply unable to change. She probably formed her definitions of right and wrong as well as a system of morals years ago, and those are difficult to change. Perhaps someday, she will be brought to her senses by a traumatic event, but there are many who live their entire lives and still die intolerant.
